Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her writing and design. She advocates animal rights. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The desire to become an artist was inspired from her childhood as a member of an New York family of artists. The first job she had was a photo assistant. She then moved on to modeling and acting. Her name was highlighted in two of her films and received Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained the world to her in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. With just three movies, she became the top female box office star worldwide. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in 1972. She was a part of several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among other. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
