Luciana Paoluzzi and Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the daughter of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) as well as Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress to Benito Mussolini). There's no record of her having siblings. Luciana studied at a local school before matriculating to the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two females in the class. Within two years she started her modeling career. Soon after, she had the opportunity to be a part of Three Coins in the Fountain when she was in Rome visiting a close friend of her father. Brett Halsey is an actress and husband to her in the beginning. In 1960, they married and produced the film Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was given custody of the film when they split just a couple of years after Charles was born. Luciana was married to Tony Athony. They dated between 1962-1970. Tony Athony played an actor and producer who was influenced by Luciana's work on the film Green Slime. Based on his work, he created and wrote his own Spaghetti Western hybrid that became famous.
