Kelly Michelle Stables was raised in St. Louis in Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with an undergraduate degree in Communications and Theater. When she moved into Los Angeles she quickly got involved in acting for theater as well as choreographing over a dozen musical and stage productions such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at LA's award winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly was able to land television and film roles as she studied improvisation with The Groundlings. She also became a member of Theatre West. A unique combination of her voice, and small size made it possible for Kelly to develop a diverse range of colorful characters. The actress is well known for her performance alongside Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara on The Ring 2 but is most well-known as the bubbly bright receptionist of Two and a Half Men. From 2011 to 2015 Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party hopper at-night as a Series Regular on the TV Land sitcom The Exes. Additionally, she played Alyssa's smart sexpert sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the The CW's No Tomorrow she played a stressed suburban mom. She's lent her soprano voice to a variety of shows, including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recently, she was in the role of the dim and lovable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's hit comedy Superstore. She leads a tranquil private life with her husband and two small children. She loves sewing, writing and volunteering at school activities.
