Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, performer and actor most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions until she made it big on the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. In the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, The album is Tina Time. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film was praised widely as well as Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships to Lee Strasberg. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively in between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary however she also was a successful television director with numerous series, including Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28 on the 28th of August, 1965. The family relocated to Toronto for her early years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained in Toronto ever since.
